At the mileage workshop website, tip on extending expiring 1999 miles on United. They did this last year saying it was only if you had more than 20,000. I had less, did it anyway and it worked. I was hoping they would do it again, and they have - and early enough in the year to take the pressure off. It gives another year to get enough miles in my daughter's account. There are (at least) two threads on this under the United forum and in the latest there is considerable debate about whether the promotion is still valid.
