Hi,
I'm planning a trip to go to Bogota, Columbia departing from Chicago for the first couple weeks of July. Any idea what would be the best miles to use?
I currently around 50-100k ThankYou points and 50k Amex MR points. I'm working towards hitting my spend limit to get 50k UR points. I'd potentially be interested in going CHI-BOG-ATL, leaving Bogota for Atlanta on my return.
I'm still very new to the frequent flyer game, and I appreciate any tips. Thanks!

You only need 40k Avios (27k MR points with 50% transfer bonus) to book ORD-MIA-BOG r/t
Fewer if you want to go ORD-MIA-BOG-MIA-ATL.
Search for award space at aa.com.
Transfer MR to BA Avios. Book on BA.com the flights you found at aa.com.
