"beat the system" tip 15: how to get out of the plane quickly
1) best thing to do is try to get to the front before the plane lands.
2) if you ask before landing, the flight attendant will sometimes let you walk down the aisle to the front as the plane finishes taxing
3) in a wide-body, the aisle on the side opposite the exit door us usually faster (people tend to the aisle on the exit-side, and in add, sometimes the flight attendants forget to block (in favour of business/first-class) the eco-exit on the far-aisle-side.

I try to get seats in front of the plane as
close to the exit as possible. Just after
being cooped up in a plane for hours (Even in
first or business class) I need to stretch
these 32 year old back and legs of mine.
Have noticed though that on some flights
Those in first and business have to wait until some of the coach passengers get off.
EVEN with those with short connections, it
seems the person in 39A with NO connections
screams that He has to be the first people off the plane! I don't care, Unless I have
five minutes to my connection and (at O'Hare,
Denver, L-A, DFW, Houston) have to dash from
one terminal to another. CATMAN
