a nice side perk to card churning / redbox

Haven't seen this posted before , sorry if it has . Redbox gives free rentals if you have a promo code, they are easy to find online. There are always 5 or so codes floating around (breakroom , dvdonme ) you can use each code once on a card , at the rate I go through cards I don't think I will ever need to pay for a rental again

yep

I know what you mean...I havent paid for redbox in over a year.
Blockbuster express often has codes listed online as well.
It helps me see movies I wouldnt waste a $1 on before they hit my free HBO.
Over half the rentals arent worth $1 anyway, other than the handfull of movies worth seeing on the bigscreen, Hollywood's quality standards are really low...whats with all the lame remakes?...no new ideas out there?

With 7 cards in my wallet and let's say 5 circulating codes, it would take me about 10 years to run out given the rate of movies I feel are worth even $1 to rent.

I remember when I was consolidating bank accounts. I had 8 cards (5 CCs then, plus 3 debit Visa cards) and I worked at a place with a redbox machine. Best part is, if you pick it up right after midnight, you receive until the following calendar day to return it. I worked until midnight as a regular shift, so I'd punch out, hit the redbox machine and get two days to watch the movie, and could easily bring it back and get another without going out of my way at all! 8 cards and codes got me a long way

As a fire captain a couple of new movies a week is a good way to keep my crew happy. I just get excited when my mileage addiction benefits other areas of my life.

Guess I don't rent movies enough. Where do I find the codes? And, I can use each code once on each credit card? Great benefit for churning!

look at post #1 it mentions 2 codes for redbox...or search for redbox or blockbuster express codes with your favorite search engine. Personally I search on slickdeals for them.

Blockbuster codes are usually time sensitive. Redbox has had the same codes for years..all are good once per credit card.

The only connection to miles is that I wouldn't have 7 credit cards in my wallet right now if I wasn't churning cards for miles. I know there's a lot of other churners here that wouldn't mind free movie rentals - in between flights of course
