i'm at a loss how you do this? I have quater mil from cc offers and flights over a year. Is there some secret or is it just that some ppl literally fly all the time? I only got 12500 for a round trip from tys to tokyo this year.

You may want to practice your math and start here:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...e-account.html
ps. In case you don't know, there are currently 359,813 registered members. Many are not active FTers, if that matters to your calculation or curiosity.
