The Clickrewards - Mileage Match
From Clickrewards website :
From 6/28/99 through 7/12/99, for every ONE Clickmile you redeem with any of our eight great airline partners you'll get TWO frequent flyer miles! That means you earn double miles without even knowing it!
You can redeem as few as 250 ClickMiles for 500 frequent flyer miles in seconds! The maximum number of ClickMiles you can double from any one account during the promotion is 10,000 (that's a whopping 20,000 frequent flyer miles!)

10,000 minimum... don't they really mean maximum?!?

Thanks for the tip! Time to redeem!
Quick question: Can you redeem, say 5,000 click points into Continental (making it 10,000 miles), as well as 5,000 additional click points into another one, say American (for 10,000 miles there).
Basically, just splitting the 10,000 maximum. I read the fineprint on the site, and it doesn't address this issue

Thank you! I likely would have gotten the bonus anyway (cashed my in on Monday, not knowing of the promo), but sent an e-mail to be sure. What a parley, 2500 for opening a $1000 account with etrade, tripled by clickrewards during the special promotion, doubled during this one. Thats 15000 miles AND I will get my $1000 back plus interest in a few months. I am also chasing down a $75 offer that etrade sent, that I should also be getting.
For those wondering about more that 10000 click miles being redeemed, but splitting them into more that one airline, it seems not. "maximum...you can double from any one account during..." Interestingly, that suggests one could have more than one account??

ranles,
I too opened an E*Trade account but for $5000 two months ago. So far, no ClickMiles have been posted to my account. I contacted Click Miles a week ago and they said they would look into it but I have not heard anything yet. How long did it take before your Clickmiles were posted to your account?

WOW!! Thanks for the tip. Important to do it now, since the promotion only lasts until July 12th. thankfully, I had never redeemed any CMs, so I have about 10,000 in the account--meaning I just got about 10,000 free miles. Will put some into British Air to reach an award level, since I won't be flying again soon, more into TWA to get another free one with them, finally into Delta to top off another award with them. great tip, and just goes to show how valuable this board is, particularly since I hadn't checked Click site in a while, and don't know if I would have without this site, since I don't have any transactions that I am waiting to have posted.

I just redeemed my 1000 points for DL miles and was surprised to find this little disclaimer:
"**ClickMiles earned at E*TRADE are not valid for redemption of Delta miles and therefore do not appear in your available balance."
For those of you who did the E*TRADE thing, I hope they told you about this before signing up!
