Is there a new alternative to the mint coins?
Was looking to help along my miles boost on my amex instead of a mad dash at the end of the year. I guess I was under a rock because I missed the news on the mint closing down the cc purchase of coins.
Is there some other alternative? and no I'm not going on a cruise.

Right now the answer is NO.
The mint was one of a kind and perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity.
The abuse of it and the fallout from all the publicity recently on all the major news cause them to close it down.
Thinking back, the only thing that surprised me was how long the mint /CC purchases actually lasted (over 2 years ) before being shutdown.

Don't laugh been doing that for a few years,,bullion and mint eagles and buffalo's has worked out well
Like Gainesville Coin pricing better...
The increase in coin values has offset the miles, but the mint did last much longer than
I expected, shoot the CC game has lasted 20 years at least close to it....
