I am planning trip to subcontinent in december from MEM to BOM.
I currently have 125K delta skymiles and 125K wife
Also have 75K MR points from AMEX and 75K wife
Also have 35K SPG and 35K wife

I am planning to transfer 75K MR both me and wife to delta and take advantage of 50% bonus. Assuming I am successful. We will have around 235K Skymiles each. December is very busy time for travel to subcontinent. I definitely don't have enough miles for 4 tickets. I am planning to use miles plus cash since I have AMEX delta gold. And I want to save SPG points so I can use in future. What do you guys thing?? I am gonna assume I will pay around $2200 for 4 tickets after using all miles. Please suggest any advise or different scenario.
