Help me choose between these two!
Hey folks,
I've been doing a bit of research lately and I have narrowed it down to two credit cards. I know I want AirMiles rewards, I am in Canada, and I spend about 1500 a month on my card.
Here are the two I am trying to decide between:
American Express Platinum Airmiles:

Or:
BMO Mastercard Gold Airmiles
https://www4.bmo.com/creditcards/ta/...0371%2C00.html
Basically, the AE is 50 dollars a year, and offers 10 dollar per AirMile at Airmile sponsored stores, 15 dollars per AirMile everywhere else.
The BMO MasterCard Gold offers 15 Dollars per AirMile everywhere but has the 25% off all AirMiles required for booking flights. It is double the yearly cost at 100 dollars.
I am having a hard time deciding on which one is better, and ANY help about how I could figure that out would be great! Thanks!

Welcome to FT!
Why not both? Here is a current thread you should look at: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...-citizens.html

Thanks, I am heading over to that thread right now to take a look!
The reason I was thinking I wouldn't get both was to avoid being charged annual fee's on both of them. However that had crossed my mind, to take advantage of the 25% off on the BMO while still getting $10 / mile on the AE.

Compared both of them here http://insureye.com/insurance_toolki...ard_comparison. As for me BMO looks better - the number of options is higher and the quality looks also to be better a bit
