How is Thai business? I'm trying to decide between Thai and Asiana. Any thoughts?

I have yet to fly it - made the STUPID mistake of flying economy last time, which I will never do again.

As far as I can tell, on the LAX-BKK route, "Business" = Thai's "Royal Orchid" -- they have Royal Silk, Premium Economy and Economy. I was unable to find a way to book Premium Economy.

Here's what Thai's website has to say:

"On board THAI flights, Royal Silk Class fliers enjoy segregated cabins with two-abreast seating. On long-haul flights, newly installed shell seats offer 60 inches (five feet) of stretch-out space, with 170 degrees of recline for sleeping. Each electrically controlled seat is equipped with a telephone and laptop power point. The interactive Audio Visual On Demand entertainment system offers hundreds of channels, for movies, music, information and games."

Thai is very good. I've flown the LAX-BKK nonstop in J 4 times. The seat was leather and didn't go completely flat. I found myself slipping off a lot. Too long on 1 plane for me. I'd rather break it up. I'm outta SFO, so if I gotta get on 2 planes, I'd rather the 2nd was in Asia. My Asiana experience in J is old news and probably irrelevant. It was just OK. They're well thought of now. Check Seat Guru, but I think you'll get a good product either way. wj
