When do inquiries expire in Credit Report?

I can't seem to find the answer even though I must have read it somewhere. Whenever you apply for a credit card, your credit report is pulled. How many months does the information show up for till it is cleared for inquiries?

I've found that many banks only look at the last 6 - 12 month period for their decisions.

Lastly, there's a way to "bump" your inquiries off your credit report if you're concerned about it.

Check the credit thread on www.creditboards.com. Transunion seemed to be the easiest, then Equifax. Experian is about impossible to bump inquiries.

Thanks all.

How many credit card pull ups would be considered too much within the last 6 months?

All credit report pull ups was from Equifax only.
