advice needed on upcoming spending
Hi,
I need some advice from the experts here. I have some relatively big spending coming up (one at 5k+, and 2 at 3k+) and am thinking whether I should put them on existing cards or get new cards.
In the last 3 months, I have applied and fulfilled the spending limits for:
Chase CO
Chase UA
Amex Gold
Amex SPG
Cap1 personal
Cap1 Business
All of the Chase/Amex pulls are on Experian for me, so I have 6 inqs on Exp, 2 on TU and EQ each. From the credit board, it looks like Citi is also pulling from Exp in my area (California). Credit Karma score is ~750.
Should I get a new card or just put the spending on an existing card? If I get a new card for the spending, which card would you recommend? I'd like to avoid Exp if possible, so it doesn't seem like I have much choice... Ther is not much data points on CB for other banks, so any information you have helps!!

also, if you are getting close to the 25k bonus points or 2-4-1 deals might want to do those

You could do both Citi AA card deals across $6000 spend. Total of 150k miles signup bonuses.
If you have a spouse, you could do this twice.

I think I'll have to avoid Citi though since it pulls from Experian in my area and I've already had 6 inqs in the last 3 months. Should I still try it anyways?

Didn't notice that. It's really hard to tell. Maybe someone here has a similar experience (or maybe buried deep within the AA card thread)..

creditboards.com they keep a nice community updated database on credit pulls. You can check out what bank pulls which agency in your state. I looked up San Diego (SAN?) and could not find anything for Citi AA. Maybe if you did a more exhaustive search on their site you would get some feedback on whether they do in fact pull from Experian.
Is that where you checked already?
