Blue Sky Amex card

I just received an email offer for this card. No bonus, but it is a no-annual-fee card that offers a $100 statement credit on eligible travel purchases for every 7500 points earned, which comes out to $0.0133~/point. Also 0% APR for the first 6 months.

Not quite compelling to me, since I use my miles for international C, but for those who redeem for domestic Y it might be useful, and for hotel nights, car rentals, etc., certainly. 7500 points for a $100 hotel is decent.

Is this new or has it been around a while? If they'd thrown in a few bonus points, I'd probably have applied.

You receive a $100 credit for every $7500 worth of travel category purchase?

It's been around a long time. I had mine since 2007, nothing special but it's better than your average no-fee card I guess.

I've had this card since 2008, and have probably redeemed about $500. Points are earned on any purchase, 1 point/$, but you must have a travel expense within the last 60 days to redeem $100 statement credit.

It's an ok no-fee card, but I put all my charges on mileage or cash back cards nowadays.
