Easy 250 Virgin America Elevate Points

This doesn't look like a targeted promotion, so anyone can get the free points. Sign up for a new Gilt City and Jetsetter account and receive 250 Virgin America points: http://www.giltcity.com/city/slide_register?bg=6

Make a purchase at Gilt City and receive another 250 points. Make an additional purchase at Jetsetter and receive another 500 points for a total of 1000 points. Doesn't look like there are any "cheap buys" at these sites, so the additional 750 points may not be worth the effort.

Oh I totally forgot to check the deals in the other cities. SF only has pretty expensive stuff for sale. Gonna buy the $5 ice cream sandwich in NYC... if anyone wants the redemption coupon since I can't use it, lemme know!

Scjmc, it's yours. Just PM me your email. I'll send it out to you later tonight. And thanks for the VX discount code, but I actually still have a 20% off code expiring in mid-June that I won't even be using (must travel by 6/15 I think) If anyone needs that I can give that away too!

Another ice cream sandwich voucher up for grabs. If someone has a 15% voucher they don't plan on using I'd happily swap as above, but I will also hand it over for good karma alone. Everyone here has opened my eyes to a whole new way of traveling...I can't thank you guys enough!

Just wondering if there's an angle I'm missing here. The ice cream voucher costs $5 and returns 250 VX points, worth no more than $5.37... is it worth the trouble for 37 cents?

By the way, my points have come through on three out of four of my family's accounts. I resubmitted for the one that didn't come through with a new email address, so the offer is still on.

How long did it take for the Elevate points to post? I signed up but I'm running up against an expiration deadline...

Does this still work? It won't seem to go past the page where I enter the Elevate # right now on my Mac.
