I really detest DL for their lack of availability, which I have found to be worse than US.

I also like the fact that US has 20k domestic Y when you have the US credit card.

I'd take the drive down to MIA as you'll be able to get to the southeast on direct flights on AA which for me is worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale to avoid having a connection in ATL or MEM every time you take a trip.

Hey UA Fan, that is why I explicitly stated US metal . Using miles on partners for either alliance is much easier. You can redeem on Air France really easy, also with US miles you can redeem on UA really easy.
