Millennium Itineraries

I think I'm the first to post this. And I'm excited to do so because I finally got my Millennium travel plans all set-up. (It had been keeping me awake at night - since I didn't have a limitless budget) Probably not the most exciting one, but I'm happy with it.

UA 985 SFO-MIA (upgrade to Business)

5 nights at the Sheraton Four Points Miami Beach (3 nights free)

UA 1985 MIA-ORD (upgrade to Business)
UA 139 ORD-SFO (upgrade to Business)

YEAH !!

Now I just need to get a car rental!

Anybody ever been at this hotel. Brochure seems fairly nice, and it looks like a good location!?

CO EWR-IAH
CO IAH-CUN (Cancun, Mexico)
The nonstop was $1100 compared to $500 for this.

Caesar Park Cancun Golf and Beach Resort
I wanted to stay at the Ritz-Carlton, but $585 per night was a bit steep. I got a good deal on this (no millenium stuff is a good deal!) for about $250 by booking a Starwood Vacation package - hotel only.

CO CUN-EWR
There were very few flights on Jan 2, and they were very expensive.
Plus, kids have school Jan 3

I do not want to offend anybody, but I humbly request that we utilize the Forum entitled "FlyerTalk Itineraries" for this.

The folks at FlyerTalk have taken the time to create a special place just for this type of disuscussions, so let's utilize it!

Sorry, I hadn't realized there was a new subheading. I just know this is where I saw people post itineraries in the past.

At this point, I plan to fly home from DFW early on New year's eve (and for those who don't know my BIRTHDAY!!!

My gutt told me I need to be home on this day. Or close to it.

Most of my friends will be off doing their Millenium things.

Also my job wants EVERYONE NOT TO ASSUME YOU WILL BE OFF NEW YEAR'S> Well I put in my time off for this time IN FEBRUARY> I REFUSE to BE AROUND TIMES SQ At this time.

So either:

*I'll ring in the new century with my friends Maryann and her sisters and their spouses (Unless they do other things.)
*OR I'll spend it alone in my apartment with the cats drinking the champaigne I'm stocking up NOW So I have some for my birthday and New Year's.

Sorry to depress you all!
