There is a thread on this promo: Avis 25% off and 5,000 AA Miles
Currently, MUAA044 is the coupon for a 3K US Airways Div Miles 3-day promo with Avis.
If found the ad in the digital edition on line. The coupon code for this AA promo is MUAA042. The URL in the ad is avis.com/aa5000 which, as of this moment, is a broken link.
Here's the catch. You have to BOOK by Aug 15. No problem. HOWEVER, the rental it self must fall between Aug 15 and Dec 15. OUCH. Since the URL is broken (at this time) and there are not T&C printed in the ad I can't say whether or not one has to use the AA AWD.
