What to use after easysabre is gone?

Well....?

Hasn't all the letters, emails, faxes done anything to change those SABRE gurus' minds?
Even as they claim that less than 1% of sales generated come from EasySABRE, they should see first WHO those 1 % are! They're the Exec Plat, oneworld Emerald passengers who treasure this service...blah, blah, blah..

Now is not the time to give up. Keep calling and writing.

Terry Jones, president of Travelocity: (817)963-3365
Don Carty, president of AMR:
(817)967-3500, [email protected]
AA Executive office (for Executive Platinums, presumably):
(817)967-2000

Remember, they're shutting it down because it isn't making them any money. Be sure to indicate that you're willing to pay for the service. It's the only way. Celestar340 has an excellent point which is lost on Sabre, but should be made to AMR. I've been trying to do this without much success.

My understanding is STIN is also pulling the plug because it's a non-Y2K compliant product and they didn't want to invest any more $$$ into it because it didn't make any $$$. ??

I saw a post on rec.travel.air today from someone who saw a demo of Sabre's new product, Sabre Net Platform. He seems impressed with it and says it's better than easySabre, but it does cost $150 to set up and $75/mo. He's soliciting people who may want to share an id.

You can read http://www.travel.sabre.com/products...orm/index.html

Why give it out for free when you can charge for it?

STIN = Sabre Travel Information Network.

That's what I get for posting while talking on the phone at work...
