How do I book this ticket?

OK, first appologies if this is the wrong forum, couldn't come up with a better one.

I have 120K USair and 60K continental, and want to book 3 *Alliance tickets to europe - wife and two small children. The best I can come up with is wife+kid1 with Usair and then call continental and book a toddler alone (telling them I already have a reservation on the same flight for my wife).

Is this going to work, or am I out of luck and need to find another solution?

Thanks much in advance!

Don't mention that you are booking a toddler and give the birth year as some 20 years more than the actual one. Not completed honest way but only while making the booking initially. Just get it ticketed and then call the operating airline to give the correct birthdate and have them link the reservations. ^

Shouldn't be an issue at all.

The only reason they should be asking for a birth date is for Secure Flight. As such, giving false information is a federal offense. But it's up to you how much risk you want to assume.

Honesty, particularly when dealing with a government agency with no sense of humor, really is the best policy.

What are the ages of the children? I would at least book the youngest with the mother.

So, I might not be asked for birthday? I seem to remember always having to fill that out? What is "Secure Flight"?
