Depends what 6. Citi, it appears, groups applications from the same day into 1 pull so you could go for 2. 2 Chase cards, and you're most likely getting denied on at least 1.

I just applied for the Chase Sapphire preferred offer of 50k spend $3000 today, and got a "we'll get back to you within 10 days" message. I like to get the US Airways 40k bonus from Barclays offer as well. Do you think I should wait a few months, or get the US Airway today? Will it be another pull?

Be careful on the barclays usair card. IMO ONLY apply for it if you are confident you will get the card you want and not the lower card with a weaker bonus. ALso, if you are preferred on US Air, you can get a 10K bonus per year just for paying the annual fee if you sign up on the preferred offer.

Yes. It's a different bank. You'll be fine (assuming you have a decent credit score (and forsure if its your first barclay).

The FrugalTravelGuy.com blog is the best source that I have found of answers to questions like this.

For this particular question, unfortunately, there is no one answer that always works.
