VS + gulf air miles?

VS + gulf air miles?
Sorry if this is wrong forum ... I'm about to make a trip on VS and Gulf Air. I'm wondering what's the optimal way to get the FF miles? all on VS or would i be able to get them on CO? this is in Jan so not sure if CO will exist? thx for any thoughts

CO will still exist in January and you will still be able to accrue OnePass miles on VS-operated flights. That said, they have some restrictions regarding the fare classes that are eligible to earn and also only flights that also carry a CO code earn EQMs (though it doesn't matter if you are on the CO or VS code). The Gulf Air flights cannot be credited to CO OnePass.
