Sorry about that, we want to keep the site tidy!

Rudi
I know that us catholics are an untidy lot,but going to "a Puerto Rican mess at the cathedral"??? |
AAPlatinum - the pencil and paper icon to the right of the "posted" line allows one to edit one's message - invaluable for those of us who think better of what we have posted.
Who knows: perhaps Rudi's "mess" will turn into a "mass" - and indeed it has... baobab [This message has been edited by baobab (edited 03-12-99).] |
I thought the same thing.

May 1: FRA to BKK first time in Bangkok!
May 6: BKK to HKG Ritz Carleton May 7: HKG to LAX May 15: LAX to LHR to ARL Stockholm Grand Hotel May 20: ARL to LHR to LAX That's all for now. |
Quantum, The Park Hyatt is very nice. Or if you are going to Georgetown, try the 4 Seasons.
|
Ritz Carlton at Pentagon City in Arlington is very nice, attached to a shopping mall, two metro stops from DC and about 3 minutes from DCA (which is quickly and cheaply reached using the Washington Flyer bus service from IAD)...And not terribly expensive for a DC area hotel (esp. with the RC name...)
If you MUST get points, however, the Hilton National Airport in Crystal City is an OK property and is also very near a metro stop only 1 or 2 stops from DC... [This message has been edited by Matt Wald (edited 03-13-99).] |
Birthday trip for hubby to one of his favorite destinations--Las Vegas!
May 4 TWA #7 LGA-LAS 3:35p. 7:51p. May 8 TWA #118 LAS-STL 12:05p. 5:21p TWA #546 STL-LGA 6:45p 10:10p Will be staying at the Treasure Island (hopefully winning all kinds of money!!) Will be at the Ambassador Club LGA prior to outbound flight then at Ambassadore STL on May 8 between planes. Anyone in the vicinity is invited to join us for a beverage. Luckily we travel with credit cards so we can definitely buy on the return if someone wants an alcoholic beverage. As my husband is fond of saying about gambling trips, "Sometimes the only machine paying off is the ATM." |
CHA-MEM morning of 22 May, returning next evening, chartered (destination Tunica).
