CO/AmEX divorce

Perhaps it was inevitable that after forging so close a relationship with Chase, Continental would leave the AmEx Mileage Program. But I’m worried: I have about 450.000 miles with CO, my primary airline, and about 600,000 with AmEx points. I was hoping to pool these and upon retirement do something fancy. What’s your advice. Where will my points do more in the end?

No need to do anything for another year. At that point your best bet would be to transfer those Amex pts over to your one pass (unless something changes in the interim). You get much more bang for your miles that way
