Anyone still using US Mint to accumulate points?

Alright! Thanks OP! A handy thread where we can mock the oh, so informative mint/coins thread and whose waste of cyberspace can only be matched and dwarfed by the mint/coins thread itself. Sweet.

actually in fairness to the op... the coins thread is now mostly a handful of people talking about "my order was placed yesterday", "my order status is bingabong what does that mean?" "oh my order just shipped", "my order is showing the wrong weight" "just arrived". It really is rather tedious.

Why are you wasting your time on the $2 bill?????? If you get the $3 bills you have to take a lot fewer to the bank - they really appreciate it. But you do tend to get questions from gentlemen in dark suits on where you got the bills.
The best game that I have found is a guy I met in a back alley that would accept credit cards and give me all the $20 and $100 bills that I wanted. Fantastic deal.

Since others have spilled the beans about the $2 bill deal, I wanted to give my status. Just received my latest order of $2 bills. Another 50K points in the account. Even the banks have had a hard time getting the number of $2 bill that they want.

It was meant as a joke. I no longer purchase $2 bills.
For a few months I purchased them from a dealer on ebay since bing cashback made it so you could buy them under face value, as well as stack rebates program, and receive 2% back from ebay towards a future purchase. Bing cashback ended 7/31.
I thought about setting up a deal where I just bought and sold with a few individuals, but the cost of insurance shipping out the bills to another person is costly. It's the sellers responsibility to get the purchased item to the buying member, and if the item is lost in shipping the seller has to reimburse the other party.
