kyklin, the only thing I can think of
for AA zone fares are either the AA-Citibank student certs or the AA-springbreak fares. I've found that AA zonefares are terrible compared to UA or CO zonefares, because they measure it by total mileage, including connexions. Here's the spring break:

1-1,000 Miles $139
1,001-2,000 Miles $169
2,001-3,000 Miles $209
3,001-4,000 Miles $239
4,001 Miles or More $259

..Buy tickets by March 31, 1999. Travel on a Monday through Thursday and return by April 15, 1999. Blackout dates: March 27, 31 and April 1, 2, 4, 1999. www.aa.com/college

You can set your preferences to 1 day, 5 days so you don't see so much. Make sure you allow Flyer Talk cookies to be placed on your computer so you don't have to reset your preferences every time.

I'm set on "last five days" and I got postings from 12/21/98. What this says is that if there's been a post in the last five days (like the last few on this thread, suggesting that it be cut off) you get the whole thing. Can we do something about that?

I guess you guys are right. Once you are into the thread you do see all the posts. Since I have a cable modem and instant downloads I didn't see it as a problem. But with a regular modem (even 56K) it could get onerous. I agree, the preferences for showing messages from x number of days should apply to the thread messages too (not just the thread titles!
