YMMV is definitely true here, but like you I've traditionally had good luck with AA. I've used them for Hawaii, Europe, and plenty of Western Hemisphere international awards...

I know if I'm looking for some sort of "semi-peak-season" award, chances are I'm going to be doing it on AA, with UA a close second. If I'm going purely off-peak, then I try harder to redeem US or DL.

Do you know who paid for the Study? i was trying to identify any Bias, I have had greater success booking with AA vs UA
