It used to be standard that 25K was the bonus for a new card but then:
Chase: 100K for BA
Chase: 50K for UA
Chase: 50K for Marriott
AMEX: 50K MR points
AMEX: 50K Delta (required $10K spending)
Now Citi has gone to 30K and 35K.
There are several card I have never gotten before and am looking at. I was going to pull the trigger on the CO card, but am thinking of waiting it out.
What are others doing? Are you waiting for the 50K offers or taking the 30-35K ones if they have no annual fee and low spending requirements?

It seems logical that point/mile devaluation will lead to inflation.
