New Look Feedback
IMHO: The new look is a bit cumbersome. It takes more clicks to see what's new.
Is this FT 3.0 or beta 0.99??

I don't like it either. You have to click every single forum to see if there are new posts. Basically, more clicks to do the same thing.
By the way, why is the 'American Airlines' forum placed beneath the 'Virgin Airlines' forum?

I am in agreement with the previously posted criticism. It seems to me that registered users should be able to configure specific topic/discussion areas to which they would have one-click access from the entry page.

I do not like the new layout. Basically, they have divided it into sections and when you want to jump from "The Buzz" to the other sections, like airline programs, it is much more of a hassle.
Kylin - there still is a way to see new posts in a forum, but it is divided by each section. For example, the main one for airline programs is under:

Absolutely - go back! This way needs more clicks! Loading a new page takes longer than scrolling through a list, folks.
At least the jump table at the end of the topics for a forum hasn't changed. Once you get to a forum you can get to others as easily as before. However, saying "at least part of it didn't get worse" is not praise for the new design.
And thanks, kyklin, for telling us what happened to AA. (Funny, it's in its usual place after America West in the jump table.)
You (FlyerTalk) might want to check out Sari Kalin's article on Web site usability, "Mazed and Confused," in the April 1 issue of _CIO_.
And shouldn't this whole thread be in FlyerTalk Suggestions?

I must add my voice to the apparent majority that prefer the former layout.
Thanks for trying to improve matters, and please don't stop trying, but in my book this was a good idea that didn't work out well in practice. Sorry.
