50,000 on United for Visa deal

I haven't done this myself so I can't vouch for it working, but having recently gotten the BA deal via this forum I thought I'd pass this on.

I actually wish I had seen this one first. Not sure I want to apply for another cc card so soon after getting the BA one though.

Good luck!

Oops. Sorry. I tried. :)

Will delete, if I can.

nah don't worry, it should be here imo too
more exposure ^ for new United members

+1 I'm glad it's here. Good for members of United's partner airlines that want the United miles to redeem elsewhere.

Has anyone who has received the BA Chase 100k offer earlier this year gotten this offer accepted too?

I got my BA Visa last year and I'm still pending on this one.

I like the trend of 50 - 100k per CC.

Calling Mileage Plus now leads to a recording that the offer is over. :td:

It's actually still working, if you call United, and go through the menu until you can get a customer service rep on the line, just ask them and they'll transfer you to Chase. Then just ask for the 50,000 mile deal

I just called United cust. service on 4/10/10 at noon PST, asked to speak with a representative and said I wanted to apply for the 50k Mileage Plus card. They transferred me to Chase, I applied and got approved for the card. So, the deal is still on. You must however have the cust. rep at United transfer you. If you go through the phone tree and try to apply for the card, it will lead you to a dead end.

Good luck and jump on it now, b/c I doubt it will be around for very long.

.

Others have had success in putting in an incorrect zip code. Causes you to be transferred to a rep.

I received BA 100,000 mile promotion late last year and then earlier this week I called and applied for the UA offer and they said I would get a response in the mail in 2-3 weeks. Then on Thursday I got email from them saying I had been accepted and after my first purchase I'd get 50000 miles.
