My impression of various hotel chain forums on FT

So I've been spending time maximizing a lot of promos lately, and I've started to notice some trends on the board. Tell me if you guys agree:

1) Hilton - Wahhh...Devaluation...Wahhh...we're taking our business elsewhere.
2) Hyatt - OMG...BEST PROGRAM EVER...WE LOVE YOU. There's a lot of kool aid drinking going on after 2 rounds of FFNs
3) Starwood - Platinum Benefits are eroding...wahhh...we're going to Hyatt.
4) Marriott - There's really not much complaining or anything. I think it's filled with dudes who just spend a lot of nights on the road.

Thoughts?

Pretty much agreed, I'd add:

5) Choice Hotels... utterly inconsistent, no real benefits for higher tiers
6) IC... WHY NO HOTELS IN HAWAII!

I've basically decided to move my business (and leisure) travel to Hyatt & SPG. Using Choice & IC only as backups.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the latest Miles and Points Buzz.
