Is this possible? Fastest Miles?

Hello all.

I need to travel to Orlando from Boston, on April 16th-18th.

I want to try and get a free roundtrip from an offer.

Does anyone think this is possible and know a quick CC signup with a bonus for at least one round trip??

Thanks

(i searched and couldnt find this, but found some great articles thanks)

With your travel dates I think you're out of luck.

Most CC bonus offers I've seen don't post until after the first or second billing statement. Unfortunately, this doesn't leave enough time for you to get the miles, let alone leave enough lead time in order to have a good chance at actually having award seats available.

I would just spring the $270 for a Delta ticket and save the miles for a pricier flight.

Unless you're strapped for cash, using miles for domestic coach tickets is a waste most of the time. Premium awards on long hauls are your best miles spent IMO.

Why don't you go to Craigslist and buy a travel voucher off of someone? I see SWA vouchers for $250 all the time.

Check the cash rates on WN. High.

And there are no regular RR Awards for those days.

Not to mention the risk of some Craigslist guy screwing you.

Even if you could get a CC offer to post before that date of 25k miles, that is the beginning of April school vacation for MA and RI schools and would probably require 50k miles for a reward ticket. It is also the reason the prices are so high. Just my 2c.

Check the MR Deals forum - for a better CPM you could try booking a FLL-LAX and LAX-BDL, then bussing it down to NYC. @:-)

While the OP is not at much risk (because of his/her dates) Spirit could be facing a pilot strike within the next 6 weeks. From a Spirit pilot: "[they] Scheduled a last ditch arbitration for April 4th. If nothing comes of that look for a strike around mid-may. Spirit will never survive a shutdown so I doubt it will come to that but you never know ."
