Newbie Question on Miles

I am a relatively new FT member and I am curious if miles flown as part of certain tour packages (i.e Gate1 Travel; Sceptre tours; go -today, etc.) on the various airlines earn frequent flyer miles. Is essence, are they in a booking class which earns miles and is there a standard bookinig class they use and does it vary from airline to airline and with different tour operators?

There is no single answer to this question. You need to check with the tour operator on a case by case basis and ask specifically if the flight is eligible for miles.
