i don't understand what the advantage of opening a business and a regular starwood is? is it to get double initial points? then why not close one of them as soon as the miles post?

Ok, so got the BA Visa for both my wife and I, and now I'm applying for the SPG Card. A nice FT member sent me a link to sign up for SPG which gave me Gold status, and now I have to apply for the card. Do I have to sign up anywhere specific or can I jsut go to the AMEX site? I ask because the AMEX site doesnt mention anything about getting 15k miles after $15k in purchases.

Thanks!

Have you checked pgary's website yet (freefrequentflyermiles.com)? Under "Credit Cards/ My Favorite Cards" section, you should see different links for promo/referral offers.

ps. I've fixed the link in post #2. Didn't put it up correctly the 1st time around.

Frugal Travel Guy is a source that many of use and love. He is a member here. Glad that your first experience with the mileage earning community of FT has gone well. And, best of luck on maximizing your points.
