I've just started to work on building my AA miles, and I am amazed at the problems. My dining miles take forever to post, I've never gotten these Liberty Mutual miles, and I keep reading things like "I enrolled but never got the bonus miles". Up until now I've focused on Delta, and my experience there has been totally different. Dining miles post within a day or two, bonus miles appear without prompting, and when they don't, they tend to get resolved. I'm not saying Delta is great, but it seems AA is a lot worse. Just look at this thread, where the Delta miles are arriving, and the AA miles aren't. I'll try to remember not to complain about Delta quite so much.

They looked me up in their system, and said they would try to expedite getting the 500 miles to AA. Nothing has appeared yet. I was told that it was taking 10-12 weeks subsequent to the date of your insurance quote. In my case, it had only been about 8 weeks. |
I participated in this quote offer on October 11th. I wrote Liberty Mutual on November 9th to inquire about the 500 AA miles. I received a response the same day as follows:
Dear Mr. Kalboz, Thank you for visiting Liberty Mutual’s eService regarding your promotional miles. We have forwarded your request to our promotions department to verify and apply the miles for your AAdvantage reward. Please understand the initial posting of credits may take ten to twelve weeks to receive. If you have any further questions, you may email us or call 1.800.526.1547 Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST and on Sunday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST. Thank you for contacting Liberty Mutual. We appreciate your time. I just did this and they already knew what cars my family drives. Kind of creepy. Apparently they just look it up through my address.

I am not too happy. I requested a quote and the next day I see an Inquiry on my credit bureau with Equifax. I DEFINITELY did not give them my SSN or permission to do a credit Inquiry. I am a "churner" and this really upsets me!!!
