About an hour after completing the quote (at 11:24 AM PST) but it was placed in my spam file as my Yahoo email account did not recognize the sender.

Void in NY (among other states)

Did the quote, now to wait for the miles. They quoted about $120 more per month than state farm.

Void in TX

got the message to call a few days ago but did it again now and it went through...no e-mail yet...hope to check back here and see the miles are posting for us soon!

for those of you mentioning "void in TX" / "void in NY", just use any address from a state where the offer is valid (a relative's address or even a random address you find online), and you will STILL get the 500 miles
and you can do this not only with AA, but also with Delta
i did this a few months ago with both AA and Delta and received the miles - they don't check or anything

You were exactly right. The confirmation email ended up in my spam folder. Thanks! ^

It is a Hard Pull on Your Credit

Two readers have suggested to me that they got hard inquiries on their credit report.

If so, not worth it to me.

The application includes permission to get a hard pull credit report. This is so..... not worth it!

No go for existing customers for LM

I am an existing customer of Liberty Mutual (2 cars and few home owner's policies) and I contacted my agent to see if I can get a quote for a new fictitious car that I am planning to buy (and get the points). No, can't do for existing customers

onedog Oct 15, 2009 10:36 am

Just filled out the questionaire and received the quote.

I'll have to check the $$ versus what I am paying now.

Thanks for the 500 miles (here's hoping they post!).

Does anyone have a link for the Delta miles quote? I can use an 18 month reset of my Delta account.

Thanks,

Onedog
