This doesn't even include the fares from FD's that have been discussed extensively.

Fares that are 3 cpm do exist, whether one is located to take advantage of it is an independent issue.

A completely different view point.

Today I booked two different PNRs.

ORD-EWR with EWR-HNL in the middle.

I had UA ecerts which took the total cost down to $260.

However the benefit from this trip and it applies to me only.

4 e500s, 2 CR1s, 4 SWUs because I hit 1K.

I'm not worried about flying first/business ORD/EWR. If I clear EWR/HNL I earn the CR1s that I burned.

It took a lot of effort to burn the $350 voucher.
