Well done! That's indeed almost £20 cheaper than what I got - Opodo often has some weird pricing differences like that so it's my fault for not trying to play around it!

Don't be surprised if the LHR-IST legs are not on the 9W 77Ws. They are expected to be off the route quite a bit before that. Still, it should be on the legs that matter most!

Whilst not related to the flights, I booked MAN-HKG-MAN out 09MAY, back 13MAY and have just bagged the Marriott Courtyard hotel on Hong Kong Island for just £35.20 a night.
Bookable on Hotelopia.co.uk on the basis that you stay at least four nights - actual rate is £40 per night, but with 12% cashback from Quidco.com (£5.16), it effectively only costs £35.20 a night. Note that the Marriott website wants £100 a night!!!
This is an absolute steal if you are Marriott Gold as the property has a Executive Lounge - you could sup and eat that alone!!!
The hotel is located on Connaught Road West in Sai Ying Pun and is about a kilometre from the Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest MTR station, but there is a tram stop situated behind the hotel which would take you about 15 minutes to get to Central.
Excellent reviews on tripadvisor also - of the 42 reviews so far, it has received nothing less than a 4/5 rating!

Seems these prices are available for June also. Note that if you are only there for three nights like myself, due to the late departure of the TK flight back to IST, I booked an extra night just because it cost less overall for four nights with the discount than it did for three nights.

yep - my mistake. switched computers and its all available again! Don't know what was wrong... Sorry for causing alarm.
I think as long as you have your stopover in Istanbul on the way out, then this reduces tax by gbp20, so HKG becomes GBP161. I've no luck with Tokyo, but Seoul works openjaw for extra circa gbp150. Singapore is extra gbp30 open jaw, beijing and shanghai similar.

Could you please advise how to book open jaw? I would like to fly LHR - HKG - SIN - LHR, but every time I try, the price goes up to GBP 1,600+ with a selection of non-TK flights thrown in! Thanks.
