Low fare map?

There used to be a website that you could go to, select a departure airport, then select a maximum fare and it would show all cities with their fares that met the criteria. It was great for doing MR's as I could type ATL and then look for very low fares and then search for the flights.

Does anyone know what happen to this mileage run tool?

I believe you are talking about Travelocity's Dream Maps: http://dps1.travelocity.com/dreamMap.ctl

Unfortunately, it does not work anymore... has not for over a year.

Yes that was the one. It was good, I used it all the time for europe until they started playing the fuel surcharge game. Then it went all down hill from there.

Thanks for the Kayak suggestion. Doesn't do what the other site did but it is helpful. It is missing the ability to select the airline.

Or it may be that I don't know how to filter the airlines for it to just show one airline on the map from the search at the beginning.

To select specific airlines with Kayak, start by clicking the 'sign up' link in the top right corner of the search page. Once you are signed in, click the 'My Account' 'Personal Information' links, then select 'Flight Preferences'. On this page you will be able to select preferred airlines. Kayak will still search all airlines but only display the preserred airlines. Hope that helps.
