AA MR from AUS?

Anyone have good MR's from AUS on AA?

I'm looking at something like AA->DFW->FRA and back.

I'm not sure the best tools of finding such things.

Thanks for the help!

AUS - ORD - DEL - ORD - DFW - SCL - DFW - ORD -DEL - ORD - AUS

Mid may it runs about 2300 (w.upgradeable int'l flights) and basically sets you up for EXP in a matter of 6-7 days with over 80k EQM is you register for the double promo.

That would be a HELL of a deal if you could convince the EXP Desk to use just one eVIP for DEL-ORD-DFW-SCL, then another for SCL-DFW-ORD-DEL! And it should be allowed, since it's technically travel in the same direction.

I have confirmed upgrades the entire trip using 4 evips. No problem with that at all.

I've just started looking into these MR's myself, and I am too based in Australia.

Can I ask a really dumb question here, and I dont want to take over this thread or anything (I hope this answer may help the OP), but when you work out visiting the 9or 10 cities you've done here, do you just enter in the small airports into say expedia in a multi stop over trip?

I can never work out how people get so many stops in? And I can never get it to bring up a price even close to (in your case) 2300

This run is from AUS (austin, texas), not Australia. However, I use aa.com's Multi-City function to search by price. This was yielded from a search that included the following 4 trips:

AUS - DEL, DEL - SCL, SCL - DEL, DEL - AUS

In mid-may, this search yielded a fare of about 1975, though that included O and Q Int'l fares, which cannot be upgraded. My next step was to execute the same search using the schedule selection tool and 50 flight options instead of price. I selected the exact flight routing I desired and then called AA to up-fare the trouble segments so that I could upgrade the entire trip. This total came out to about 2300. The same trip in June is 2800.

Fantastic, that still answers my question. I don't know why I read that as Australia, I've been getting good at my airport codes.

It seems for Qantas FF it can be worthwhile heading to the USA to make use of the cheaper AA fares, given its only $1000 or so return to LAX.
