I'm flying on UA at the end of Dec and I want to credit one segment to UA-MP program and the other to SK-EB program. Any idea whether this is easy? messy? impossible?
Note that I'm not trying to divide the miles abitrarily: I want XXX-ORD to credit to MP and ORD-YYY to credit to EB. Both flights are UA metal in the US.
My main program is EB and I need the points to qualify for EBG next year, but I have 24550 points on UA, so it seems silly not to put a segment on UA-MP for 500 points, especially if I travel in the US next year.
Note that the trip will be late Dec, so the opportunity for unscrewing things up will be limited...so "possible but messy" probably means no.
Thanks for input.
