SJU-IAD-SFO 5/21

Both with 38 min turnarounds in SJU.

Also booked each as one-way using $75 e-cert on each, brings price down to $67.63 each way!
I would have killed to have been able to book two of these! My schedule didn't allow for it though Congrats!

So you are on UA 1688 on the 21'st? If so we have a few other ft'ers on that flight.

If I could get this to price out of SAN I would do this for the 5/14 with a quick turn around on 5/15... But at last the price does not compute!

Yeah, I'm on UA 1688 on the 21st. What is the FT count up to?

A newbie! ^

hxsagent and I will most likely be at the Embassy Suites in case anyone is waffling on hotel location.

What a great MR! A 45-min. turnaround is sh-weet! Wish I could make it work ex-PDX. (No worries tho, I ain't hurtin' for EQM ops. )

I will be doing
SAN-SFO-IAD-SJU On May 20
SJU-IAD-SFO-SAN on May 23.

I did not get it to price out as well as others but with a $200 Domestic Certificate I am happy. I will be staying at the Embassy Suites one day then Hilton the next day for HHonors stay credits towards requalifying (extending) Diamond

How did .bomb allow you to book with only a 38 min turnaround?

Quick turns are out there. It's the same Ted plane, 1689/1688, so no need to worry about getting left behind.

Thanks boxo, I guess I was just under the mistaken impression the .bomb forces you to choose flights with longer connection times.

It is reassuring in in this case that it is the same plane for the turnaround....

Sorry for another question here guys; I am looking at these fares on expert flyer and it says:

SA3OPN1 UA Round-Trip 216.00 (USD)
QLXEN UA Round-Trip 241.00 (USD)
SA3PKN1 UA Round-Trip 246.00 (USD)
QLWEN UA Round-Trip 300.00 (USD)

I got excited becayse the QLWEN fare allows travel over the weekend and is only $50 more (and is also good to 8/21 I may add). I got the fare on .bomb for may 9, with a direct turnaround. I confirmed that the fare on the itinerary is QLWEN, yet it is telling me the base fare is 626.26 when I try to book it? What is going on?

Many thanks!

The connection time is valid, and if you wanted to do UA 1669/1668 as a turnaround, it is bookable via .Bomb.

However, as the OP stated they are all OW. =-)

I would call UA in regards to the QLWEN fare. Maybe a Sup. can refare it for you. Also, maybe they have updated the fare rules, or maybe you don't have the correct routing, or metal to qualify for the fare?

Even booking as RT it allows for the connection. Is it because its the same aircraft on the turnaround, so its impossible to miss?

You would think that. But some flights that use the same AC aren't bookable.

There are a few that have 25 min turn arounds that .Bomb just won't let you book.
