I am screwed... (Newbie needs help getting 7K eqms by Dec. 31.)
unless you guys can create a miracle.
i am a 1P with 93,000 miles flown this year, and I want 1k very badly. but i have no business trips left in the next few days, and i don't know any easy way to fly 7,000 miles for a reasonable price.
i am also pissed at myself because i know that if i had planned my flights a bit more effectively, i might not be in this situation. how do you guys schedule those flights with four or five stops? i need to know that so this doesn't happen in '08.
anyway, if there are any suggestions for a great mileage run in the next couple of days for 7,000 miles, i would greatly appreciate it.
also, please let me know how to maximize my mileage for next year by booking multiple stop trips. i fly out of BWI as my home airport.

Do you have a Mileage Plus Visa? That can fill in some gaps if you have enough Choices (though you'll still need a short flight even so). If not, be prepared to spend some bucks since you didn't plan ahead. Three days just isn't enough time to get anything reasonable.

If you want 1K "badly" as you state then don't depend on your employer. Fly BWI-ORD-SEA-PDX-SFO-LAX-PHX-ORD-BWI - that should give you the 7K you need. It might cost some $ but again, you said you wanted 1K badly.
There are also SEVERAL threads that already exist regarding how many miles do I need in the UA forum and also the Mileage Runs forum.

Once you log in, you can exchange RDMs earned on your card for EQMs. The exchange rate is 1,000 EQM and 1 EQS for 10,000 miles.

You don't identify your base, nor your spending limit, so it is hard to help.
You can do ORD/LHR tommorrow for under $1500.
UA928 - 12/29 to LHR
UA4794 - 12/30 - LHR - WAW / UA4765 WAW - ORD
The return flights are on LOT metal.

I'm going to move this over to Mileage Run Discussion. You should find help there.
