Help needed, UA MR from BUF

Hi all,

I am a 2P with United now.
I had about 48,647 EQM up to date and I would like to make to 1P this year. unfortunately, the business travel cannot be counted on in the next three months.

I am looking for a quick 2000 miles MR from Buf or Roc before Thanksgiving. My parents in law will come to stay with us between Thanksgiving and New Year. The concept of Mileage Runs is far beyond their their comprehension and I don't want to waste my time to explain to them. So if I can finish my MR before they come. That is peace for everyone.

I am looking for about $100-$250 budget for the run. I also looking for a same day or red eye MR during the weekend because I have not much of vacation days left and if I could avoid the hotel cost.

I have tried to use yahoo.com farecompare.com to search for best deal without much of success. Any suggestion for the good MR destinations and/or comments on good deals are welcome. Thank you for your time and help in advance.

Sincerely,
Polar Bear

ORD-BUF with stops in both directions yields four segments (2000 miles) and can be done in one day for $200. In fact, on 10 Nov you could fly six segments BUF-PHL-IAD-ORD, ORD-IND-PHL-BUF for 3,177 EQMs. Three of those segments would be on US.

In fact, on many days, you could get a fare of less than $140 all-in for this route.

Thank you all.

Thank you all for your tips. I tried to booked the suggested route at United web site using Multi-city option. I got the price and flights displayed on the screen. But when I tried to select it and I receive the following error message:

To purchase the itinerary you selected, please contact united.com customer support at 1-800-589-5582. Please be advised that fares may be higher than originally quoted. Error message 6440. ]

Any other comments? Thanks again

It may have been a temporary error; you might try again later. Alternatively, if you can get it to price out on orbitz, you might just book it there. It'll cost a few dollars more--but might be worth it just to have it ticketed. And since some of your segments are on US, you won't get the online booking bonus at ua.com anyway. Good luck.
