Question Is this Connection/CPM Feasible on this SFO - FLL MR?

Hey, folks,

Not sure if this belongs in MR deals, but wanted to see what people thought of the particulars, and if one connection seems feasible.

It turns out I will need one more MR to reach Premier status this year, and have crafted the following, for one day and one overnight of travel:

SFO-IAD-PHL-FLL-PHL-IAD-SFO. 228 dollars AI, 7822 EQM, 2.88 cpm.

I foresee a potential problem with the 40 minute connection in PHL on the outbound leg. I will be transferring from a United Express flight to a US Airways flight. PHL is notorious for delays, and, I have not studied airport layouts, but, it seems as if the UAX to US connection cannot be kind. The UA website, however, approved (!) the itinerary. I'm extremely tempted by the 7822 EQM, to be honest.

Thoughts? Critiques? I've got the itinerary on hold until tomorrow, 08/14, at midnight.

Why don't you tell us how long the connection is? That would kinda help!

The CPM is very good though for a mileage run, IMO, especially for status requal!^

I can also sprint, if necessary. Shoving will suffice, as well.

People will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe your UX flight will arrive into Terminal D, while the US flight will leave out of B or C. (According to US flight status, most FLL bound flights do.) If you arrive on time, you should be able to make the connection without too much trouble, as the walk is not that far. That said, if you're delayed from IAD...

That is comforting. I think I will grab it.

If it's a legal connection booked on ua.com and you miss it, won't they just rebook you?

Right, but, it could very easily throw off the rest of the schedule.
