[FARE GONE] Beginning of the end? AZ fire sale...
AZ just filed a bunch of $200++ round trip fares from SDF-Europe (and assumedly many other departure cities). No Sat. night stay required. Comes to about $480 according to FareCompare and good through EOS. This can't be a good sign for AZ.

Update: Fare code appears to be JR. If these are J tickets this might be a big deal...

IAH-LON on DL codeshare in business class for $646.10 all in.

Same here for CLT, looks like same thing to Kiev. Saw it on FC and is bookable on the Alitalia website. Note this looks like business class to me and cheap! Let the journey begin!!!!

Works from ATL too and these are "Business Freedom" tickets which allow for reimbursements and booking changes at no penalty!

By "Reimbursement: allowed with no penalty" do they mean you can cancel and get all your cash back? This is crazy if so.

That'd be key for me to know. I'd love to book a trip for spring break in business at these prices.

It's not like you could use a Delta voucher to buy AZ coded flights could you?

DL wouldn't get paid until AFTER the ticket coupon for the DL flights was used. And so in the event of a scheduled flight after "AZ goes under", DL would be left chasing dust. In other words, only if DL were to be especially nice.

AZ can be really slow about ticket refunds. I would not buy this unless the trip purchased is "completed" in the ticket buyer's mind within a 30-60 day window from today.

Strange things afoot...
ATL to FRA and back in mid August was $493 a/i a few minutes ago. It's now just under $900. Has someone in Milan/Rome wised up?
