Quick Turn @ PVG
***Let me preface this by saying I do have a current/valid Chinese visa.*** On that note, has anyone done a quick turn MR through PVG? Did you have any trouble going through customs and/or explaining it to them? What did you put as your destination on the immigration entry card? I've got an LAX-PVG-LAX turn coming up and will have about 2 1/2-3 hours in PVG.

you should be okay if it is direct same bird turn, sometimes a bus gate can really halt your progression. Otherwise most of the lines are manageable during normal hours, at peak hours for foreigner-heavy departures (like LX, LH or IB flights) the immigration line for foreigners can get a bit lengthy, but definitely not gonna be more than 30 min.
(edit: not sure which airline OP flies, AA and other US airlines never gets a bus gate but MU does sometimes.)
