Let's not forget the US FC SBA-SFO-PHL-BWI-CLT-FPO RT for $46. 9268 EMQ's with 500 minimums (of course I put it into either LH or BMI for 3x RDM's,) comes to .00496.

You didn't get it. I have to fly from Germany to MSP, I have to pay whatever fare I can find. Germany to MSP is not a mileage run. The mileage run comes into play if I take a weekend and fly from MSP to Brasil, that's where Delta pays me. You on the other hand don't have to buy your Lamborghini, a Chevy Malibu might do the job, so yes, that calculation would be wrong.

Delta pays you? So you book one flight.. for $1,000 then you book another an they give you $400? That's what you're saying.

You're getting a reduced rate if you NEST a flight in that happens to be cheaper.

I've rented a few Malibu's. They're just not for me.

I remember 0.04CPM (2499 delta miles for $1) in 2013 as long as you can turn your suntrust bank account fast enough. It lasted for years but I was too lazy and too busy...

The Hertz "summer" promo (that just ended Jan 31).

The promo was for 3000 miles per rental. You also get 1500 miles for booking on UA.com, and an extra bonus depending on UA status (so for me 1250).
