Booked a ticket for March using orbitz. Got the confirmation mail within 5 minutes with the ticket numbers and booking reference. Was able to find reservation on cathay pacific website and select seats. Booked along with a stopover in HKG. Seems legit till now...hope it sticks...

Just an update: This fare is honored. Flew the first 2 sectors of a roundtrip without any hitches.
