I used the shower at AC lounge on my first mileage run of the year. It was nice to have that option. I didn't hang out and try any snacks or drinks. The only annoyance is TSA stopping me everytime I try to enter a terminal other than where my flight is departing. I just explain I'm going to a lounge or particular restaurant and they let me through.

I guess it could save passengers from missing flights, but on the other hand I don't need someone to hold my hand.

I hated it after the first flight, but after fifteen iterations, it does make me want to gnaw my own leg off. Thank FSM for active noise cancelling.

On my last SFO-PDX leg, they must have had an issue with the video because the purser provided the safety briefing which was truly a relief.

Next week I get to ignore it another six times.

First world problems.

I use a coccyx seat cushion for most of the flights. Mine is by Aylio, but they're probably all pretty much the same and easy to find on amazon. It helps A LOT. It folds in half and I stuff it into my large backpack, along with a small pillow, and a neck pillow. I roll up my down jacket and place it behind me for lumbar support.

Of course it's easy to bring all this because I don't really need anything else.

I completed a PDX-LAX run earlier this week and had four hours to wait for my connecting flight (not going back to PDX). I decided that I should at least visit the two Priority Pass lounges that are closing next month after the Great Terminal Swap. I visited the Virgin Loft...and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. It's way too dark in there and feels uncomfortable to me. I then went over to the AC Maple Leaf Lounge and that was quite nice. I was surprised that soup, salad, and couscous were the only main food offerings but it's such a bright and comfortable space that I didn't mind.

I spaced out my (all only single transcon roundtrips: PDX-SFO-XXX-LAX-PDX) runs all the way into November so even though I'm kind of over flying with VX, I'm locked in for requalifying for MVPG 75K. With that in mind, I guess the only lounges that will be left for us using PP is the Alaska Lounge and KAL Lounge in TBIT? That is, unless they suspend admittance due to crowding.

I just got the email notification that my flight in October has been changed... they cut out the trans-con flights. I thought I was one of the lucky ones but looks like I'll need to try to get my original itinerary re-instated.

Same here. Received email notification this AM of changes to 2 September Reservations eliminating the transcons.

Wow. New itinerary is PDX-SFO-LAX-SFO-PDX//SFO-LAX. Hello VX? No connection from PDX to SFO and terminating airport was changed from PDX to LAX.

Not looking forward to attempting to get these fixed. Anyone have success in fixing their itinerary when booked through Priceline or another OTA? VX sends me to the OTA (which I get since it's their ticket until the first segment is flown),but then refuses the OTA's request for restoral and the OTA rep won't push back or escalate.

All of my transcons removed as well. So I'm flying PDX-SFO-LAX-SFO-PDX.... Ive already hit MVPG 75K, debating if its even worth it to suffer on the phone with them over 40K redeemable miles?

All of my trans-cons have been taken out as well. Really disappointing.

Oct was: LAX-JFK-SFO-PDX-SFO-JFK-LAX
now; LAX-SFO-PDX-SFO-LAX

I'm prob just going to scrap this since I have trips booked on HU and EK for AS requal.

Mine are all jacked up now. Extra segments showing up along with the original. knowing from experience from the last one the extra segments will takeover the transcon ones. I still need to call and try to get refund for next weeks flight.

Got an early Sunday morning automated call from Priceline (thanks Captain Kirk!) that Virgin jacked up my flights in October:

Was PDX-SFO-JFK-LAX-JFK-SFO-PDX

Now PDX-SFO-JFK (?) SFO-LAX/LAX-SFO(13 hour layover)-PDX

I'm going to try to ORC this , but will wait until later this year to call. Maybe I can get the AS PDX-LAX-PDX nonstops with a better seat.
