Need ~15k AA for EXP

My home airports are BDL/PVD but can do BOS and reluctantly JFK/LGA. Would like to keep the cost down and can do 2 trips, I have a Cuba flight that will help, but some of the work trips I had hoped for, I ended up booked on United.

PVD-ORD-LAX-HKG-NRT-ORD-PVD out 9/18 return 9/20 is $670, 18000+ miles. Other days and routings available at similar price.

The run by JBeckett is low cost and not many days of your life spent in an airplane but, in this my first year as EXP, I have been disappointed how few times from and to Dallas I have been upgraded to first.

It's not worth doing the itinerary mentioned above. It's no fun at all making so many stops. The more stops you make, the higher the chance of delays and misconnects. Not to mention, it's typhoon season in HKG.

As far as upgrades for EXP, I see it coming to an end in two years time. Once PEY is introduced, there won't be any Y to F upgrades.
